What Your Neighbors Think

We’ve used healthy lawn for several years now. The one year we did not use them we definitely saw a difference (and not in a good way). They do great work and the price is reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Our Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control Program

A healthy lawn begins with a balanced fertilization and weed control program designed for New Jersey's climate. Because most local lawns consist of cool season grasses like Kentucky bluegrass and Turf-type tall fescue, we customize every lawn treatment based on your lawn's condition.

A detailed lawn analysis, along with a soil test when needed, helps us evaluate soil pH, identify nutrient deficiencies, and build a plan that promotes stronger turf from the ground up.

This application consists of slow-release fertilizer with pre-emergent crabgrass control. Depending on temperatures, broadleaf weed control will be applied. The typical timing of this application is early March through mid-April. Temperatures below 50-55 consistently may negatively affect weed control, rendering it ineffective. During this time the primary target weeds are general broadleaf varieties including Bittercress, Henbit, and Dandelions.

This application consists of slow-release fertilizer with pre-emergent crabgrass control and broadleaf weed control. Broadleaf weeds to expect during this time are similar to the first application with additions of clover, chickweed among other broadleaf weeds. The typical timing of the application is April through May (usually 30-45 days following first treatment of the program).

This application consists of slow-release fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. The fertilizer consists of less Nitrogen and increased Potassium to help grass roots withstand the upcoming stresses of summer heat and drought. Typical timing of application is early June through late July (usually 30-40 days following first treatment of the program). This application may also include grassy weed control pending timing of treatment.

This application consists of slow-release fertilizer and grassy/broadleaf weed control. The fertilizer is geared to provide nutrients without over feeding grass that is usually stressed by this time of season from drought, heat, fungus and excessive mowing.

This application consists of slow-release fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. This is one of the most important applications of the season as September is the time when lawns are being seeded and need to be nourished properly. Also, September is a great time for cool season grasses to recover from harsh summer conditions, applying fertilizer will aid in the recovery process. The typical timing of application is late August through early October.

This application consists of slow-release, winterizing fertilizer and broadleaf weed control (pending temperatures). As stated with the ‘early spring treatment’, temperatures may be too cold for us to effectively control weeds. If this is the case, only a winterizing fertilizer will be applied, or results will be lessened.

This application is applied to prevent grubs from rising to the surface and feeding on the grass’ root system. Grubs will not actively feed until very late August through early October with the height of the Grub season falling somewhere in mid-September. Typical timing of application is ideally the same as the Early Summer treatment, to be completed by July 31. Common surface insects such as chinch bugs and sod web worms will also be covered by this application.

Lime is used to regulate pH balances within the soil. Lime can be applied any time of year, even after December 1st. We offer an early-season lime application (add-on application) between January 1 and June 30, and we include a lime application between July 1 and December 31 as part of our Premium Lawn Care Package. A soil sample is highly recommended for new customers and lawns with problematic histories to help us determine adjustments and additional soil amendments that may be needed.

Core Aeration For Complete Lawn Care

Over time, soil naturally becomes compacted, making it difficult for water, oxygen, and nutrients to reach the roots. Aeration and overseeding work together to relieve compaction, strengthen existing turf, and fill in thin or damaged areas. The result is a thicker lawn that stands up better to weeds, drought, and everyday wear. Our aeration program includes:

Tree & Shrub Care Services

Healthy trees and shrubs are just as important as healthy grass when it comes to maintaining an attractive landscape. Our plant health care services protect ornamental plants from insects, disease, and environmental stress while encouraging vigorous growth throughout the season. The result is a landscape that complements your lawn and enhances the overall appearance of your property. Our tree and shrub care services include:

Pest Contol For New Jersey Properties

Mosquito Control

Mosquitoes can quickly make spending time outdoors uncomfortable during New Jersey's warmer months. Our mosquito control treatments target areas where mosquitoes rest and breed, reducing populations around patios, decks, shaded landscaping, and other outdoor living spaces.

Combined with proper drainage, smart watering practices, and eliminating standing water around your sprinkler system, professional mosquito control helps you enjoy your yard with fewer biting insects.

Flea & Tick Control

Ticks and fleas pose health risks for both people and pets. Our flea and tick treatments focus on high-risk areas such as shaded lawns, landscape beds, wooded edges, and ornamental plantings where pests commonly hide.

We also offer preventative grub control to protect your lawn from damaging insects beneath the soil, preserving healthy root systems and preventing turf damage before it starts.
